The Rev. Dr. Brandon A. Blake was born on April 9th in Memphis, TN, to Pastor Napoleon and Annie Blake. He holds to Philippians 1:6, “Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

His formative educational experience transpired in Memphis City Schools. Dr. Blake earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management and a minor in Real Estate Finance from LeMoyne-Owen College. He holds a Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt Divinity School and a Doctor of Ministry in Christian Preaching from Beeson Divinity School at Samford University. He has several church and community affiliations, including being a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Dr. Blake was called to preach at age 10 and ordained by Pastor J. L. Payne at age 16. He has previously served as Senior Pastor at St. Luke M. B. Church in Memphis, TN, and Mt. Zion Taska M. B. Church in Cayce, MS. In June 2016, Dr. Blake was called to serve the New Sunny Mount M. B. Church family in St. Louis, MO.

Dr. Blake is married to the lovely Keyonna Blake, and they have three daughters.

​

It is Dr. Blake’s desire to be a vessel of God and declare to a broken humanity that God the potter wants to put us back together again. He has a great enthusiasm for God's Word and His people.
